I want to invite parents and guardians to "Let's Keep Talking" on May 21, 2015 at 6:00 PM at the Raymond High School Cafeteria. This is a community presentation that came out of the "Let's Talk About Drugs" event that took place in March. In the feedback received that evening, attendees asked for more information. This event will answer some of the many questions people had.
Chief David Salois is the featured speaker and he has a wonderful presentation on the drug trends in our communities, what our children are exposed to, and what the police departments are seeing for drug use in the area. This information is important for all parents to know.
In addition, Nicole Jordan and Lance Paquette from the Office of Juvenile Probation and Parole will discuss practical matters: common places in your home where youth hide drugs or paraphernalia and examples of what they look like.
This evening will provide information and support to help prevent our children from involvement in drugs or alcohol and to keep all of our children safe. Please join us in this discussion for valuable information.
