Growing up in a military family ensured that I am very patriotic. Part of that Patriotism (with a capital "P") was always to vote- and I mean always. Whether town, state or federal, it didn't matter. This Saturday, the voters who attend the School District's Deliberative Session, make the decisions (they deliberate) on what goes on the ballot in March. In other words, these citizens have the final say on what the people of Raymond will vote on in March concerning dollar amounts for: the school bond, the operating budget, the RESS contract, Capital Improvement, etc.
If you want to be a part of this process or if you want to learn more about a specific topic, you should attend this Deliberative Session. It all takes place this Saturday, February 4 at 10:00 in the high school cafeteria.
